Do any of you guys visit paysites?  Membership sites?

I ve never felt compelled to join a paysite..Never really thought that much about it...Codymedia is the only one that I'm even halfway familiar with...29.99 month or whatever it is...works out to less than a buck a day...sounds pretty good...but it was never anything I would be interested in..

.Last week, a person basically said I was stupid for not having one.... A paysite with "exclusive" content.... It seems to me that as a producer...that would be the way to go........ except that I/me for one, would never sign-up for a site, just from a tour, and aggree to recurring billing on the promise that the site would be updated with content...and giving up my CC info, etc,etc.... But as I look around...I see lots of paysites..which kind of begs the question for me...whats the future of paysites?  Is there a "battle" right now with VOD?  Is VOD better becuase the customer gets to pay as they go...? rather than being "locked" in?

Most of the paysites I know of...all seem to sell the same ole content...Cept Seancody and a few others...What are your  thoughts guys?.....
