Whats up guys?  Sorry its been so long since Ive updated the blog..Just been really busy.  I've got this new Job  and it's really wearin me out....It's the first time Ive ever worked for a national company...and for some crazy reason...it kinda reminds me of scientology or a cult...It's oddly comforting and creepy...sometimes even at the same time....I quit the only job I had as a young adult (13yr) during a mini-midlife crisis...I made great money, was known as the "guru" ,always good for your ego BTW..and pretty much came and went as I pleased....And had a european company car...

Since then...I've worked a variety of jobs...none of which I really liked...I've always been one to move on, If i dont like a job...what Ive noticed is....If you attempt to switch careers...at my age....People seem to look at you suspect....  Like either youve just been released from prison...or rehab  LOL  The only interviews I could land where in the field I was trying to leave....The field I wanted to get into....ignored me becuase my resume was tailored to the other field....and my age...I guess.  Plus a lot of online apps dont recognize office 2007 docs....(.docx) files which means you have to cut and paste, and the resume loses its format...

While working on a Joe Schmoe vid, I got the idea to create a video resume.  A picture is worth a thousand words...then a video must be worth a million I reasoned...I had some old footage of me in action at my previous job...carefully edited to showcase the talent and experience...that would be needed in my new career...set it to some  synthy/techno-ee type music...with no still shots of me...and posted it on youtube...  and applied online for a few positions...with the link to my video resume...

About thirty minutes later..I got my first email from the company I applied to HR director.  in a pone conversation...he told me that he is in charge of hiring management for 300 of the companies facillities..and it was his first video resume...and they would love to discuss a position with me....

pretty cool huh?

Anyway...that's why we havent any new movies for awhile...haventt really had the time to stay on track with the vids and learn a new career...LOL

Theres a lil neighborhood bar in town directly outside the largest trailer park in the county.....We printed up some homemade business cards and left them on the shelf above the trough type urinal in the mens room..and waited..for our "throw away" cell phone to start ringing..

Im calling it "Joe's Redneck Auditions" and it features four brand new "mature" redneck guys.  They aint the prettiest guys...But their footage is all raw and "real"  just like i like it...Here's a couple pics...

Theres one other guy on this film also...I dont have his pic though.....We just call him grandpa. He has a nice body for a grandpa...and shoots a nice load also... Look for "Joe's Redneck Auditions" on AMVC.com soon.....
