Palm Springs CA - Now in its fourth year and set to take place May 7-10, Blatino Oasis is preparing to welcome men of color from around the world back to Palm Springs for another year of fun in the California desert sun.
Producer Joe Hawkins said that his team is ready to show everyone a wonderful time. "Each year we book two host hotels. Our clothing optional hotel (Canyon Club) is sold out and basically sells out for the following year, almost immediately after our event ends. However, we are very excited that our main host hotel has a new name and has undergone a major renovation." Hawkins is referring to the Crestline Hotels & Resorts opening of the 410-guestroom Renaissance (Marriott) Palm Springs Hotel. The upscale property, formerly known as the Wyndham Palm Springs, was newly branded a Renaissance after undergoing a multimillion- dollar renovation." Guest who may have stayed at this property in previous years, will be amazed at the changes. And although the former hotel was beautiful, the new renovation will blow guest away...total luxury" Hawkins said. This year's event will be hosted by Chicago based comedian "The Ever Lovin' Sister Quintella - The 87 Year Old Evangelist of Comedy" who has been featured on a number of national television shows to include B.E.T. and has worked with comedians such as Roseanne Barr, Bernie Mack, Monique and Somore to name a few. Quintella will also present a comical Mother's Day tribute. Events include the annual White Party Welcome, Boxer Briefs Party, Kings Supporting Kings Brunch, Mirage Party, swim-wear/underwear fashion show, strip shows, daytime pool parties and tours. Event passes officially go on sale February 8, 2010."We encourage people to book now at the Renaissance Marriott because our block of rooms at that property usually goes pretty quickly once we send out our press announcement. " Hawkins said. One major component of the weekend is erotica which includes the 4th Annual Blatino Oasis Erotica Awards (BOEA) ceremony, that will be held at the clothing optional, Canyon Club Hotel. • Photoshoot with Ty Lattimore and King Dingo
On this past Saturday I had a photoshoot in Atlanta with new porn model King Dingo. The photographer was Seven. I have worked with Seven on another occasion and he took some great shots of me. I usually only shoot with other models when I am in a video with them. So this was a bit different. I had heard of Dingo, but had never met him. Dingo is new to the industry but has worked with several studios recently. Seven had a specific concept in mind. My mind did not know what to expect.
King Dingo was cool and easy to work with. Not to mention very sexy and tall!!!!Shoot started a little late, but we rocked it. Seven allows you to really get creative. I had quite a few ideas myself. King Dingo was professional and friendly. I can not wait for the images to be released.
Definitely have to work with him some more in the future. A new model with no ego and took direction well...that is so rare in this industry.

• BlackOut Party in Philly
Just wanted to send a shout out to all the Bruthas from Philly, Deleware and NJ that attended the BlackOut Party in Philly on Friday night. I had never had a party in the area but I was glad I did. Everyone was sexy and cool. Special shout to all the muscular/athletic kats that attended!!!! ! No drama and no issues. Even though a few folks flaked, the party was off the meter....I always prefer quality over quantity anyway. Philly definitely brought some quality. Glad the word spread out over A4A, but always know my party info is posted here before A4A or BGC. Thanks to Lawrence and Vic for getting the word out to the right folks.
Not sure when I will be back in the Philly area but catch our upcoming parties in Atl and Columbia(SC) and Charlotte.

• Spring Bling was a huge success
| Thanks to all the friends and fans that came out for my Spring Bling party and my VIP/Blackout party. My sexy host and co-promoter Dorae Saunders were on point and she really took care of us. Everyone in South Carolina was so friendly and happy to see us. My models and team really did an awesome job. Had a blast partying with you guys. You know we like to cause mayhem. Some folks came from TN, DC, VA, NC, GA, FL, and all over the country. We had so much fun meeting everyone in Columbia, SC. The show, the performers and D.J Ghost were amazing. Drinks were just right!!! Definitely will be planning some more events in Columbia and over cities soon....so stayed tuned......To the haters, esp the whack ass, punk, jealous club promoter in Columbia who thinks he is the bomb ....most of all thank you. You make me better. Instead of hating on me, elevate your game shawty. Stop treating folks anyway you want to and they will support your events, too. Karma is mf.
